Edwina Wyatt grew up in Sydney, Australia.
A trained lawyer and high school teacher, Edwina now writes for children from her home on the south coast of New South Wales where she lives with her husband and two children.
Her debut book In the Evening illustrated by Gaye Chapman was a Children’s Book Council of Australia Notable (Picture Book of the Year 2016) and included in the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge. Her follow up title Together Always illustrated by Lucia Masciullo was also a CBCA Notable (Early Childhood Book of the Year 2017). Edwina’s books have been published in multiple territories including the USA, France, Taiwan, Korea and China.
Forthcoming titles include her debut middle-grade novel with Walker Books due in 2019, and picture books with Knopf Books for Younger Readers (Penguin Random House, New York), Walker Books and Little Hare (Hardie Grant Egmont).
She is represented by InkWell Management in New York.
